Saturday 8th July
Ladies Mile - 100km
The brutal circuit on the side of one of the largest climbs in the South East has been used in more recent years by the BEC CC as part of their spring road race. This is the first time it is being used in the Tour of Sussex. One long drag as well as a shorter power climb will see the riders dig into their VO2 reserves. Coming out of the final lap, riders will turn right to finish in the same place as the BEC RR. A long climb the finish will no doubt see some large time gaps and some favourites going into the last stages.
Sign-on Open: 08:30
Stage Start: 10:00
Riders are reminded to sign on for each stage.
Stage 3 Jersey presentation will be conducted before the stage.
